Enrollment
In keeping with our progressive educational philosophy, Open House Nursery School is an open door to young children and their families. No screening, interview, or formal application determines admission. All that is required is interest, as established by taking a tour, filling out a brief application form, and paying an application fee ($100).
If we have more applications than openings, we conduct a lottery. Last admissions season, nearly every family who wanted to attend was able to.
Our classrooms are organized by age. Two-year-olds must have turned two by September the year of admission.
Preference is given to siblings and children of alumni. Open House is inclusive of all children and families.
Year Starting September 2024 – 2024/2025 School Year Enrollment
We are currently in “Rolling Enrollment” for the 2024/25 School year.
Please fill out 2024/25 TOUR REQUEST FORM if you are interested join the waitlist for taking a tour and learning more about Open House. We will email you to set up a tour if there are openings in a classroom.
If you are an alum or retuning Family please email Tom and he will reach out to you with details on enrolling.

Enrollment Timeline
| January | Deadline for application, non-refundable application fee of $100, and completed financial aid forms if you are applying for aid. |
| January | First round of enrollment offers sent by email: you will learn if you are being offered a contract for a certain program or have been put on the wait list. |
| March | Deadline for first-round families to accept enrollment offer; $3,000 non-refundable deposit due. |
