Enrollment
In keeping with our progressive educational philosophy, Open House Nursery School is an open door to young children and their families. No screening, interview, or formal application determines admission. All that is required is interest, as established by taking a tour, filling out a brief application form, and paying an application fee ($100).
If we have more applications than openings, we conduct a lottery. Last admissions season, nearly every family who wanted to attend was able to.
Our classrooms are organized by age. Two-year-olds must have turned two by September the year of enrollment.
Preference is given to siblings and children of alumni. Open House is inclusive of all children and families.
Year Starting September 2026 – 2026/2027 School Year Enrollment
Open House’s will tour families interested in enrolling for the 2026/27 school year beginning in November and running through the beginning of January. If you are interested in a tour for the 2026/27 school year, please fill out our 2026/27 tour request form. We are a small school without an admissions department, mid October and then every week thereafter you will get an email from us offering a few tour dates. All tours are lead by the Executive and/or Education Directors, and the group size is small to allow plenty of time for questions. The timing of your tour and application does not affect your chances of enrollment.

Enrollment Timeline

Current Year – 2025/2026 School Year Enrollment
While our classrooms are full for the current (25/26) year, we do have openings from time to time. If you are interested in joining the wait list for a spot this year, please fill out 2025/26 TOUR REQUEST FORM. If we have an opening for someone your child’s age, we will reach out to you to schedule a tour.
