Tuition Payments

Tuition payments are due on the schedule written in your contract and are accepted online by e-check (ACH) or credit card. For the 2024/25 school year, most families will begin paying in the April 2024 and make their last payment in March 2025, with a holiday in January, to leave space for paying the deposit for the following school year. If this schedule is a hardship for your family, please reach out to Carey. Invoices will be emailed to you on the first business day of the month and are payable upon receipt. Please add carey@openhousekids.org to your contacts to ensure invoices are not intercepted by spam filters.

Electronic payments are made through a third-party service, ACI/Official Payments. Paying by e-check (ACH) is free, but paying by debit or credit card incurs a fee. Open House discourages families from paying tuition by credit card. If you need more time or an extended payment schedule, please contact Carey.

Open House offers a 2% discount for tuition payments in full. To be eligible for the discount, the full balance must be paid within the first month of your contracted payment schedule. Please contact Carey to make arrangements.

Returned or Late Tuition Payments

Returned or rejected e-payments will incur a fee of $25. Payments more than 30 days late will incur a fee of $50.

Contract Revisions

If space is available, a family can change their contract to a longer-day program until November 30. After that, families who need more hours may purchase extra hours. Let us know if you would like to add a day, and we will put you on a wait list.

Extra Hours

When a family needs a child to stay outside of the hours on their contract, hours can be purchased at a flat rate of $15. Extra hours can be used for hours outside of vacation and summer programs as well as during the regular school year. Email extrahours@openhousekids.org to request extra hours.

FSA or Tax Receipts

Open House is happy to give you a receipt for FSA or tax purposes or to fill out a form. Please allow two business days. Our 501(c)3 EIN is 11-2912324. A consideration to keep in mind is that your tuition is typically paid primarily in one calendar year for a school year that straddles two calendar years. FSAs are typically allocated per calendar year, so you may be able to apply your tuition to two years.
